Internet Explorer + Acrobat Reader で印刷不可 2020-10-26

コンピュータ



OS は 10月の更新プログラムを適用した Windows 10 Pro [1903] です。




Internet Explorer 11 + Acrobat Reader 20.012.20048 の環境で。




とある Web ページの PDF ファイルが印刷できません。 ブラウザ内に表示はされます。




PDF ファイルをダウンロードし、PC ローカルのドキュメントフォルダー等に保存してやれば印刷可。




Reader 側では 「 セキュリティ特権の場所 」 オプションにて、このページを信頼済みサイトとして登録済みです。




と云うことで、 Chromium ベースの Microsoft Edge をインストールして試してみますと。




あっさり表示＆印刷ができました。




Acrobat Reader のブラウザ プラグイン ( IE 用 ) に何か問題でもあるのでしょう。




Acrobat Reader の再導入では解決しませんでしたので。




Acrobat Reader 本体側のオプション設定に不備があったわけでもない、と。




一方で IE 11 のみ対応なページも、こちらのお客様はご利用中でして。




しばらくは ２つのブラウザを併用、と云うことになります。 Active X 、悩ましいです。

手元では、4日遅れて日曜日。 (w

手動で更新確認すると、更新プログラムのインストールが始まってしまうので。

LibreOffice と Mozilla Thunderbird を使う 2020-10-25

Windows 8.1 上の Microsoft Office 2010 Home & Business を置き換えです。




LibreOffice は、デフォルトでメニュー（ リボン ）にフォント周りの編集ボタンがないので。




オプション設定を変更して、メニューに追加表示させてやります。




また Thunderbird は、メール一覧画面で「 受信時刻 」 カラムが非表示なので。 （ 「 送信時刻 」 表示あり。）




やはり設定変更で表示します。 表示場所も変えて、 Outlook 2010 と同じ並びにします。




カラムのドラグで左右に移動出来ます。




15 年分くらいのメールのインポートに 3 時間くらいかかりました。 (w




Outlook PST ファイルの大きさは総計 10 GB ほど。




1000 件ほど登録されたアドレス帳のインポートは数分で完了しました。




なお Outlook アカウント設定は、なぜか Thunderbird にインポート出来なかったので。




手動で再設定しました。




あと Outlook と異なり、Thunderbird には送信待ちメールボックスがないので。




送受信ボタンを押すまで送信を保留、と云うような動作をさせたい場合、アドオンでの対応になります。




(背景)

出来ればあと 2 年ほどその機体を使う、とのことです。 ( 現在 8年目 ! )




この機種、バンドルされていた Microsoft Office が 2013 ではなかったのですね。




そして Windows 10 アップグレードキャンペーン の対象外です。 ( 不具合が出て 8.1 へ戻した。 )




Windows 8.1 では Microsoft Office は 2016 までしかサポートされません。




つまり Microsoft Office 2019 をインストールできないのです。




Office 2016 のインストーラー ( HomeBusinessPipcRetail.img ) は、 別件で保存 してあり、インストール自体は可能です。




しかし、2020 年時点で購入可能な永続版 Office 2019 のプロダクト キーでは ライセンス認証が通りません。




Office 2019 をインストールしなおしてくれ、と云われます。




と云うことで、 Microsoft Office 365 ( サブスクリプション版 ) を契約するしかないのですが。




クレジットカードを使いたくない ( 使えない ) 場合、サブスクでは困ってしまいます。




(追記)

Office 2016 のインストーラーは HomeBusinessPipcRetail.img と云うファイル名ですが。




これでインストールすると、起動時には Office 365 版のロゴが表示されます。




バージョンが 13231.20418 になるので、中身は Office 2019 です。




ここで有効な永続版 Office 2016 の プロダクト キー でライセンス認証を実行すると。




「 サブスク版で有効なキーではないので 永続版 Office をインストールし直します 」旨のメッセージが表示され。




見慣れた C2R の アップデート 画面になります。




フルインストールに比べると、かなり短時間 ( 数分 ）で更新終了し。




Excel などの Office コンポーネントの再起動がかかると、永続版でライセンス認証が通ります。




どうもインストーラー自体は、サブスク版も永続ライセンス版も共通みたいです。




ライセンス認証モジュールのみが異なる模様。




ちなみに Office 2019 ( OEM 版 ) のインストーラーは HomeBusiness2019Retail.img と云うファイル名でした。
